About
Eric got his NAUI Scuba Diver certification in 2004 and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification in 2007. Being fascinated by the biodiversity of marine environment, he started his underwater photography experience in 2011 with his Nikon D7000 DSLR. His ambition in underwater photography is to share with the public the beauty of the mother nature, especially the underwater environment in Hong Kong. He is keen on taking both macro photography and wide angle scenery.
Being a local fish survey volunteer, Eric has recorded a number of rare reef fish species and contributed in some fish guide books and websites.
Eric has won several awards in photo competitions, including the Champion of Macro & Close-up Category in 2012 and Champion of Standard & Wide Angle Category in 2014 in Hong Kong Underwater Photo & Video Competition.
